We Martin’s celebrated Sankranti festival very grandly on January 11th, 2024.
It was really a special event celebrated in Martin’s school.
HIGHLIGHTS OF SANKRANTI FESTIVAL:-
Sankranti celebration started at morning 9.00 a.m.
The school premises was decorated with colourful rangoli and flower petals.
The school stage was decorated very beautifully and colourfully with kites, Pongal pots, flowers, sugarcane plants, cows, hens, haridas etc. It has given the feeling of village atmosphere.
The students dressed up in a colourful traditional attire for their cultural performances.
Special assembly was conducted.
Assembly started with devotional song.
Students shared the Information about Sankranti Festival.
Our Martin’s tiny tots were blessed by our Principal mam and coordinator during fungal teeth function (Bhogi pallu)
Students performed skit on this special occasion which was followed by songs and dance performance.
Totally the day was delightful and was a sweet memory for all of them.
Finally the programme successfully concluded by Vote of Thanks at 10.00 a.m.
On this special occasion of Sankranti we conducted special competition like Fireless cooking and Mehendi competition for our Martin’s parents on the same day at 10.30 a.m.
As many parents have been participated, we conducted the competition in slot wise.
To choose the winners we invited special judges for selecting the winners.
The first three winners have been awarded by our Principal mam
on January 26th, 2024 (i.e. on Republic Day)
All students and even parents have been actively participated in this event and made this programme a grand success
